About the Artist:

Ms. Belenna Mesa Lauto is an Associate Professor at St. John's University specializing in photography. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally since 1985. Ms. Lauto has lectured extensively on management and creative project developments for the professional photographic community in New York, Chicago, Boston and Sweden. Selected pieces of her art work have been acquired by museums and businesses, and her documentary work has been published in a variety of publications including Newsday and LIFE magazine.
