JOANNE VON ZWEHL: JoAnne has been producing original artwork since childhood, winning her first award at the Port Washington public Library at the age of twelve. Joanne has done over thirty solo showings, as well as numerous group showings. She has traveled around the world, including Ireland, France and Vietnam, studying art and gathering sources of inspiration. Her work themes range from romanticism to spiritualism, and various religious institutions have commissioned her. A large portion of her work resides in private collections.
